The actress Sawsan Badr talked about her participation in the series “Between Al-Sama and Al-Ard”, whose episodes ended in the middle of the current Ramadan, confirming that the dramatic context gave the series richness among the audience in a way that made it interact easily and positively with its episodes from the beginning, and expressed her happiness by presenting the character Faten Sorour, the artist who Suffering from declining fame from her.
Sawsan Badr said, in a press release, that she is happy with the interaction that took place during the episodes of the series, which is a good and enthusiastic thing for the team, noting that she received very good echoes, especially since there is a great development in the events of the work.
She added that bringing together characters with a bad past inside an elevator for a long time and getting to know the details of the exciting network of relationships between them in each episode had the pleasure of the audience because most of the dramatic lines have a tragic aspect, noting that the multiplicity of characters inside the elevator allowed the creation of different backgrounds with great freedom.
Badr pointed out that she embodied the personality of Faten Sorour, an actress who suffers from diminishing lights and her struggle with Reham (Naglaa Badr), the actress who used her beauty to trap the producers and fight her so strongly that she makes her lose all her money until she sells her entire home furniture.
She indicated that she chooses her roles well and prefers to present different characters and roles, and carries within her a space of representation that allows her to perform differently, explaining that coexistence properly with each character increases her credibility.
The events of the series revolve around the presence of its heroes in a suspended elevator, after one of the gangs decided to deliberately disable it, to prevent Hani Salama, who embodies the role of Dr. Hamid, a professor of philosophy, from ascending because of his views against extremist groups.
The episodes of the series ended tragically, as the elevator fell to them after a bomb exploded above the building.
“Between Al-Sama and Al-Ard” is a dramatic work that belongs to the type of series of 15 episodes. It is based on a story by the late writer Naguib Mahfouz and a movie with the same title, and reformulated by the writer Islam Hafez.
Hani Salama, Dora, Ahmed Badir, Ahmed Rizk, Naglaa Badr, Yousra Al-Lawzi, Mahmoud Al-Laithi, Ahmed Al-Selkawi and Nada Moussa participated in the series.
