Elon Musk’s love affair with the cryptocurrency shows no signs of an end after a filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission announces the receipt of new official titles for him and other Tesla executives.
From Monday, Elon Musk will hold the official title of “Tesla technoking”, while the company’s CFO Zack Kirkhorn will be officially known as the “coin master”. Form 8-K filed with the SEC States:
“With effect from March 15, 2021, the titles of Elon Musk and Zach Kirkhorn have changed to Technoking of Tesla and Master of Coin.”
The submission also states that Musk and Kirkhorn will retain their current positions as CEO and Chief Financial Officer.
Without the accompanying tweets made famous by Tesla’s CEO, viewers can only speculate why Musk and Kirkhorn have adopted new titles.
At the beginning of February, bitcoins (BTC) the spot price rose by $ 3,000 in a matter of minutes when Tesla news appeared $ 1.5 billion acquisition of BTC, by sending the coin price to a new historical high in the process.
After a sharp drop in the value of bitcoin – and Tesla’s share price – the title was “the richest man in the world” briefly lost from the biography of Elon Musk. However, neither Bitcoin nor Tesla lasted too long, as the restored price of the coin soon returned Musk and the company healthy profits. Bitcoin on Saturday again climbed to a new all-time high when the price of a coin flirted to $ 60,000 for the first time in its history.
