The Coalition in Support of Legitimacy in Yemen announced today, Wednesday, that it is foiling an impending attack by launching a booby-trapped march from Amran to Saudi Arabia. The coalition confirmed that the drone and the terrorist elements operating it had been destroyed in Amran.
The coalition added: “We are resolutely addressing the sources of threats in order to protect civilians from terrorist attacks.” The coalition stressed that “the military operation is in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules”.
On Tuesday, the coalition managed to intercept and destroy an explosive drone fired by the Houthi militia towards the town of Khamis Mushait.
On Monday, the Coalition in Support of Legitimacy in Yemen announced the demolition of a fortified cache with ballistic missiles and launch pads in Saada, central Yemen and northwest Sana’a.
